The Talent

Bands

Footloose (Chapel Hill NC)
Rex McGee -– fiddle, banjo; David DiGiuseppe -– accordion; Pete Campbell -– keyboard; Jim Roberts -- percussion. A fun, creative and high energy band. Their repertoire draws from many sources, including Celtic, Quebecois and southern old time. Guaranteed to put a fire under your feet.
KGB (Seattle WA)
This KGB is not a spy organization, but a band from Seattle that plays for New England style contradance, English Country Dance (as MI-5), Mostly Waltz and other social dance events, concerts, and private functions such as wedding receptions. We write a lot of our own music, and the rest comes from all over the world: the British Isles, French Canada, the Northeastern USA, Western and Eastern Europe, South America, the rest of the USA, and places we haven't yet identified.

Callers

Rick Mohr (Philadelphia)
Rick is a caller, choreographer, and tunesmith who has been pleasing dancers of all levels at numerous dances and festivals in New England and around the US. He is known for his top-notch choreography, and clear calling as well as his warmth and humor. His specialties include "grid squares" and “megamedleys”.
Susan Petrick (Redwood City, CA)
Susan Petrick grew up in New England, and has been enjoying contra and square dancing for many years. Her dance enthusiasms also include couple dancing and Scottish and English Country dancing. Susan started teaching and calling for contra dances in 2000. She also teaches couple dances, including waltz, cross-step waltz, and hambo. When she is not touring throughout the country calling for dance weekends and festivals, Susan lives in Redwood City, CA, and is a cognitive psychologist who manages a group of user experience researchers at Google.

Sound

Alan Roberts (Seattle, WA)
Alan is a fiddle player (plays with Southwest Passage) and dancer in addition to being an excellent sound man. He is aware of the nuances that make us all happy, and is able to provide a great experience for the callers, band members and dancers.

Flier: This is the 2010 Flier... If we have one on file; otherwise, it is a dead link.
